OUR INSTRUCTOR'S CODE OF CONDUCT

Preamble

The teacher/instructor, believing in the worth and dignity of every human being, recognizes the supreme importance of the pursuit of truth, devotion to achievement, and the necessity of the unrelenting pursuit of personal, business, and professional excellence.

Essential to these goals is the protection of freedom to learn, to grow, to instruct, and to provide an equal opportunity for growth and life achievement for all members. The teacher/instructor accepts the responsibility to adhere to the highest ethical standards of personal life conduct at all times.

The teacher/instructor recognizes the magnitude of the responsibility inherent in the process of instructing others in life achievement principles. The desire for the respect and confidence of one's colleagues, of Comeback Road members, and of the member's community, provides the incentive to attain and maintain the highest possible degree of ethical conduct. The Code of Ethics of Comeback Road Life Achievement Seminars reflects the aspirations of all teachers/instructors and provides standards by which to judge conduct.

Commitment To Help Members Pursue Life Achievement Goals

The teacher/instructor shall strive to help each member realize his or her innate human potential to achieve life goals as a worthy and effective member of society. The teacher/instructor shall therefore work to stimulate the spirit of inquiry, the acquisition of knowledge and understanding, the thoughtful formulation of worthy goals, and shall provide the encouragement and motivation to develop superior strategies to pursue and achieve those goals.

In fulfillment of the obligation to the member the teacher/instructor

  • Shall encourage each member to take independent action in pursuit of the member's personal, business, and professional goals and objectives.
  • Shall encourage each member to seek all available data, wisdom, and information related to the member's stated goals and objectives.
  • Shall provide subject matter to uplift each member in spirit. Shall provide seminar content relevant to the progress toward achievement of the member's goals and objectives. 
  • Shall make every effort to protect the member from conditions harmful to growth, education, learning, health and safety, or other conditions or factors causing harm or causing a hindrance to any member in the application of principles of life achievement methodology. 
  • Shall not intentionally expose the member, under any circumstances, to embarrassment or disparagement. Shall not on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, income, marital status, political or religious beliefs, family, social or cultural background... (a.) Unfairly exclude any member from participation in any program (b.) Unfairly deny benefits to any member (c.) Unfairly grant any advantage to any member
  • Shall not use leadership or instructional status or position with members for private advantage.
  • Shall not disclose information about members obtained in the course of providing any service unless disclosure is required by law.

Commitment to Excellence

The rendering of life achievement instruction carries with it a trust and responsibility requiring the highest ideals of professional conduct. In the belief the quality of the instruction and conduct of the teacher/instructor directly influences the member, the member's family, and the community in which the member lives, the teacher/instructor shall exert every effort to conduct himself or herself in the highest professional manner, to promote a climate encouraging the exercise of professional judgment, and to assist in the promoting and recruitment of qualified persons as instructors.

In fulfillment of the obligation as a teacher/instructor, the teacher/instructor...

  • Shall not, in any presentation of any seminar, deliberately make a false statement or fail to disclose a material fact that shall increase the personal capability and competency of any and all members.
  • Shall encourage every member to pursue every goal or objective with only the highest integrity, honesty, personal effort, and character.
  • Shall not assist any unlicensed person or uncertified instructor in the unauthorized use of Comeback Road Life Achievement Seminar copyrighted materials.
  • Shall handle all monies and membership records with the utmost honesty and integrity.
  • Shall not disclose information about members obtained in the course of instruction or professional service unless disclosure is required by law.
