HOW COMEBACK ROAD HELPS YOUR
SUPPORT GROUP BE MORE, DO MORE, AND ACHIEVE MORE
And In Turn…How Your Support Group, As A
Comeback Road Partner Group, Helps You Be
More, Do More, And Achieve More
Traditional support groups are organized for a variety of different
purposes and often provide a range of functions for their members. It
might be useful to view your support group as addressing one of the
following broad issues: (a) personal growth and wellness, (b) personal
success (c) acquisition of life wisdom (d) increased life achievement
(e) dealing with situational crises, or (f) dealing with chronic
conditions in life.
Comeback Road has a similarity to traditional support groups but only
a similarity. Comeback Road groups are strongly supportive of members
and member aspirations in life. Where Comeback Road groups differ from
traditional support groups is in the area of teaching. Each Comeback
Road group is under the direction of an instructor who presents specific
personal growth lessons each week while also leading directed
discussions about the material being taught.
Where Comeback Road helps you and your support group as a Comeback
Road partner group is in helping you and your group focus more directly
on matters of healing, wholeness, becoming more effective, adapting to
life changes, and dealing with chronic conditions in life. Each member
of a Comeback Road group is asked to identify and pursue a specific life
goal or project in order to apply our Comeback Road tools, techniques,
methods, and philosophies. You and your support group, as members of
Comeback Road and using discussion guides for partner support
groups, may direct your support group energies to helping each other be
more effective so each member can be more, do more, and achieve more.
Support groups form to provide support for all members of the group. The
reason we all need support, regardless of our life circumstance, is
because we all need support to be more, do more, and achieve more.
Your support group can become a support group partner with Comeback
Road. As a support group partner with Comeback Road, your traditional
support group stands out among all others because your support group
helps you and all your members use Comeback Road’s guaranteed success
strategies that help all Comeback Road members be more successful in
every effort in life.
As one of our partners, you and your support group members have a
dynamic focus in your traditional support group meetings. At Comeback
Road, we give you guaranteed strategies to build successful efforts in
every part of life and along with these guaranteed strategies we provide
hope, inspiration, vision, and a can-do spirit for our members.
As you probably know, we all live in a world of negativity and dashed
expectations. We live in a world nearly running on anti-depressant
medication. Your support group represents a group of persons with nearly
unlimited potential. As a Comeback Road partner group, your members
cannot only find support from each other, your members have a group to
support them in the application of our Comeback Road guaranteed success
strategies, tools, techniques, and motivational ideas to win in the game
of life.
The North American continent is dotted with support groups seeking
answers…the very answers we provide in our weekly meetings at Comeback
Road. What our members need, what you need, and what your traditional
support group members need, is the help and support of others who are
also on the comeback road in life due to various adversities. As a
Comeback Road partner group, you and your group help fill these needs.
Other groups of persons seeking personal life achievement know-how
are the millions of working adults who attend workshops and support
groups related to their work, employment, or profession. Included in
these millions are those persons who take educational courses and
classes each week. Our Comeback Road seminars are designed to give all
persons the kind of strategic wisdom members cannot find anywhere else.
As one of our partner support groups, our special support group
discussion materials enable your traditional support group, regardless
of its purpose, to help all your members express their fullest
potential.
Nearly all support groups provide support for their members in
various ways and in various fashions. Quite simply, your members and
your members-to-be are looking for a place where they can share stories,
be listened to, cry, gain the wisdom of the ages, find encouragement, or
shout for joy…all this in the context of life achievement…the very
context we provide in Comeback Road. What Comeback Road does not often
provide enough of is the supportive "listening ear" so often
found in traditional support groups. Most importantly, what both
Comeback Road and your group offers is a place where we give persons
ways to overcome or deal with adversity in life. Comeback Road, in
partnership with your support group, offers members a place where they
are accepted as they are--with all of their problems or foibles, broken
dreams, broken hearts, or hearts full of hope. By becoming a partner
with Comeback Road, your support group is a place where people are
buoyed up and encouraged on their journey through life. As one of our
partners, your support group can also serve a purely educational
function. As a partner group, you can invite Comeback Road teachers to
come and share their knowledge with your group as teacher time and
schedule permit.
In addition, as one of our partner groups, you may want your members
to engage in an active community education program to help your
community understand the goals, purpose, benefits, and outcomes of
Comeback Road group membership.
Regardless of their intended purpose or
the functions they
provide for their members, thousands upon thousands of community support
groups work. Traditional support groups work because they are based on
the following principle: "Each person is a resource to
others": Comeback Road, as the name implies, exists to help people
come back against every kind of life adversity and win. With the help of
your support group, both your group, and Comeback Road, can help members
win out over the many hindrances keeping all of us from achieving our
hopes, dreams, and potentials.
To win out over adversity, you and your traditional group members
must choose to view each person as a resource who is able to be of help
to others. Additionally, you and your group members must choose to view
each person as a hungry soul desirous of being fed the wisdom of the
ages in the form of strategies, techniques, tools, and advice leading
to a successful, winning life. As one of our Comeback Road
partner groups, these visions can be fulfilled in all your group does or
seeks to do.
The most successful people on earth are those people who have helped
others. Comeback Road is here to help you and in turn help you help
others. Human greed has a way, eventually, of rendering the greedy
person into a state of immense need. Human greed, run unchecked, leads
to prison or to a life full of hell's worst torment. It may appear
members of your traditional support group come to the support group for
selfish reasons. This selfish motivation may be in play at the beginning
of the person's membership. However, within Comeback Road, a new member
would soon learn one of life's most critical lessons. That lesson is,
successful people in every area of life have become successful because
they have followed the principle of "He who helps others is helped
most." As a Comeback Road support group partner, you and your
traditional support group members must recognize the person who reaches
out and helps others is actually helped most. Why? When we reach out and
help others, we actually strengthen and empower ourselves--we gain a
sense of potency that consequently enables us to cope more effectively
with our own trials and tribulations. Thus, one finds that he/she is
able to help others and help himself/herself at the same time. When a
member of Comeback Road Life Achievement Seminar groups is empowered,
other members of the group are empowered. When one of your traditional
group members is empowered, the other members of your group are also
empowered.
