DISCOVER HOW YOUR ACHIEVEMENT IS INTENTIONAL

Achievement in life does not happen by accident. Achievement in life happens because a person intends to achieve, acquires the tools to achieve, and has a direction or purpose activated by his or her intention, all tied together with pre-planning. As a member of a Comeback Road achievement group, we supply you with the inspiration to fuel your intention, the skills and knowledge to use the tools we provide, and the guidance and support to sustain your purpose and direction. In no other place can you find this kind of dynamic combination assembled to help you do more, be more, and achieve more.

Let's look at a real life example of what we mean in terms of intentions, tools, and purposes. Let's say one Saturday morning you go out to your car to do your weekly shopping. You climb behind the wheel, insert the key into the ignition, turn the key over to the start position, and hear the dreaded, clickety, clickety, click sound that results from a dead battery. No problem for you, you'll just use the second car. You tell yourself you need to get a new battery this weekend and put the new battery in yourself before you go back to work on Monday. You clearly intend to replace the dead battery. Later that day, your favorite football team is playing on TV and you tell yourself you will replace the battery tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon. Sunday comes, you go to church in the second car, and Sunday afternoon comes, your favorite football teams are in the playoffs, the games are on TV, and you tell yourself you will replace the battery later. This putting-it-off-till-tomorrow scenario can go on for weeks or months, but without a clear and forceful intention to replace the battery, you will take no real action. A few weeks go by and you finally get up enough intention to get moving on the dead battery project. However, you go to replace the dead battery and you cannot find your tool box. You look everywhere but no tools. No matter how much intention you have at the moment to replace the dead battery, without the tools to remove the bolts from the battery terminals, you will not be able to take any real action. A week later, just by chance, you find your toolbox under the sink in the bathroom where you left it after your last project. You set the toolbox down by the front door with the intention to get to the battery in an hour or two. As the minutes roll buy, you get involved in other things. Eventually, you head out the front door, pick up the toolbox, and walk to the car, but because of other distractions, you have forgotten what you were going to do. At this point, you have an intention to do something, you have the tools, but because you have forgotten what is was you were going to do, you have no purpose or direction. You walk back in the house truly befuddled and set the toolbox down by the front door. Then you remember what you were going to do with the tools. You immediately turn around, pick up the toolbox, and head back to the car, raise the hood, and remove the battery terminal bolts. You remove the battery from the car and then you realize you have another problem. You did not plan any of your activities out in advance. Because you did no pre-planning on this battery project, you did not get a replacement battery. We are going to leave you now in our scenario hoping you can, one way or another, get enough of your act together to get the battery replaced.

The point of our little battery story is clear. You must have an intent to achieve, the tools to achieve, a direction or purpose activated by your intention, with all of these essential factors tied together with pre-planning. Our battery story represents essentially a simple task. When you try to achieve large, more complex tasks in life, you need more than the simple four factors we outlined above.

At Comeback Road, we help you break down complex tasks of life into manageable bits and pieces. We then work with you to inspire your intentions, give you the secret wisdom tools to achieve, help you find direction and purpose, and then stand by you as your consulting and support group as you pursue every project.
